An alias is a nickname for your address. It is possible to specify an alias for a full WX Network wallet address to simplify user experience during asset transfers and leasing transactions. The cost of alias creation is 0.001 WAVES (the Tx fee).
An alias is a 4-30 characters-long string consisting of:
lowercase Latin letters
numbers
dots
underscores
hyphens
@
Please remember, created alias cannot be changed and removed from the WX Network address.
To create an alias, open the installed app and log in to your account. At the top left corner tap the QR-code icon:
In the following screen tap Aliases and then tap add Alias ("+") in the upper right-hand corner of the screen:
Type in the name of the alias and tap Create to complete the process.
Your alias should be ready for use with the next block update.
