Intro

The WX Network team is working hard on decentralized solutions for its products and services. Decentralization increases the fault tolerance, and operational stability of the entire system as well as the transparency of the working mechanisms of its work. This essential concept meets the whole crypto community's demands while running a project with the high profitability of its investment products today. That is why our investment products are based on smart contracts which are available for public and audit. If the investment products’ mechanics is quite clear and does not raise questions, then decentralized payment gateways are a quite tricky task. On the one hand, the current gateways’ mechanics is easy to use, but, on the other hand, it's hardly scalable and does not provide the proper level of transparency.

In search of an ideal solution, the WX Network team decided to integrate a non-custodial service which is provided by PepeTeam: cross-chain bridges based on smart contracts and decentralized backend services on the Waves blockchain as a transfer layer. After the audit of PepeTeam's smart contracts and its backend services, we implemented the bridges functionality into the WX Network.

Note: in WX Network accounts imported from the MetaMask extension, the deposit and withdrawal of tokens through the PepeTeam bridge is not available as of now.
