WX Network: Account Recovery

The WX Network mobile application allows you to use tree types of accounts: an account associated with email, an account associated with the seed phrase and an account associated with Ledger.

To restore access to your account, install the WX Network app. After installing the application, read the welcome information and click the Continue button.

On the next tab, you will be asked to select the type of account you want to restore.

Note: if you are already logged into the account, log out before making the next steps.

How to restore access to the email account

Step 1: If you already have an email account and want to restore access to it, then select Email (Sign Up or Login).

Step 2: click on the Login via email

Step 3: enter your account credentials: email and password.

Note: If your account is protected by two-factor authentication, then you will also need to enter the 2FA code from the mobile authenticator to continue importing your account.

Step 4: On the next tab, you need to protect your account with a passcode (enter the passcode twice).

How to restore access to the seed account

Step 1: If you already have a seed account and want to restore access to it, then select Software (Log in with Seed).

Step 2: click the Import (using QR code or manually).

Step 3: at this stage, you need to choose a way to import your account:

- click on the QR code icon in the Your Seed phrase area to import the account from the web or desktop version of Waves.Exchange via QR code;

- or type the Seed phrase into the Your Seed phrase area to import the account using the Seed phrase directly.

Step 4:

- if you click on the QR code icon in the previous step, log into your Waves.Exchange account via the web or desktop wallet, go to the Settings tab, and click the Show QR Code in the Security section of the settings. After that, scan the QR code by the WX Network mobile app and agree with the Terms of Use;

- if you chose to type Seed manually, enter the Seed phrase and agree with the Terms of Use.

After that, just click on the Continue button to go to the next step.

Step 5: create an account name and a strong password (enter the password twice), then click on the Log in button.

Step 6: protect your account with a passcode (enter the passcode twice).

That's all! Welcome back to your account!

Log out before importing a new account

If you already have installed WX Network mobile app and you are logged in to the account but want to import another account, just log out from the current account through the More tab.
